- The cybercriminals targeted the victims using a deceptive Microsoft Excel link with the term ‘COVID-19 bonus’.
- Once the victim clicks on the link, they were prompted to grant access permission to a malicious web application.
- Once granted access, the cybercriminals attempted to gain access to Microsoft Office 365 account, sensitive documents and other valuable information.
