- These well-crafted emails with subject ‘Free Covid-19 testing for all residents’ is designed to prompt victims to click on links which will redirect them to fake websites.
- Once the victims reach these sites, they are deceived into downloading malicious files or entering personal and financial information.
- One example for the spoofed email ID which could be used for the phishing email is ncov2019@gov.in.
